DOLOMITES’ TRIP WITH FAMILY
Seeing that I want to start travelling more this year as good resolution, I started searching some places to visit nearby where I live. I found out that there are a lot of places to visit and beautiful landscapes to see and photograph, much more than I can though!
Dolomites where one of these. So a few days ago my family, my dog Chicca and I took the car and decided to go there. As someone who do not go really often to mountains as they are not on my favourite place lists, I was pleasantly surprised that I enjoyed so much going there!
Dolomites are a mountain range three hours away from my house. They’re the final part of the Southern Alps. This name derived from the first geologist who described this giant rock, his name was Deodat Gratete de Dolomieu. Since 2009 they’ve been declared UNESCO World Heritage Site. If you want to read more about it you can have a look here
Dolomites’ landscape When I saw this landscape in front of me, my heart really melted! I was stunned that something so special was so close to me and that I’ve not already visited it.
And when we arrived at Dolimites we stopped and had a look around. We also went to Cortina D’Ampezzo the famous town for ski-ranges. Here we were in another little town near Vajont Dam where we stopped for lunch. After me and my little Chicca here above, we went for a little excursion around and we had a lot of fun together!
And this is the last pic of my Dolomites trip. Because if I have to post all the photo I took you you would be really bored! I really enjoyed the journey and the time I passed with my family, it’s something you can’t worth it!
